Is America’s Destiny of Influence Over the Rest of the World, Going to Be Silenced at Some-point? (Part 10)
With our new President, Donald Trump, officially now installed as the 47th President of the United States, to label the state of most of the country to be in a state of euphoria, would greatly diminish the present reality. Even great nations throughout the world are paying rapt attention to the new administration, over the lazier faire attitude of the previous administration. Suffice it to say there is a new Sherriff in town. No doubt the next four years will see America’s great voice over the rest of the world, experience a meteoric rise. Which ironically leads us to examine the Prophet Jeremiah’s 8th Clue in identifying the mystery nation referred to as “THAT GREAT City, THE VIRGING DAUGHTER OF BABYLON, etc..
“A SOUND OF A CRY COMES FROM BABYLON (or that Great City), AND GREAT DESTRUCTION FROM THE LAND…BECAUSE THE LORD HAS SPOILED AND DESTROYED OUT OF HER THE ‘GREAT VOICE’ (or universal influence)…AND HER MIGHTY MEN ARE TAKEN, EVERY ONE OF HER BOWS (her wide range of military might) IS BROKEN: FOR THE LORD GOD OF RECOMMPENCES SHALL SURELY REQUITE (or repays) HER. AND I WILL MAKE DRUNK HER PRINCES ( or to act completely out of control like a drunk) AND HER WISE MEN, AND HER RULERS, AND HER MIGHTY MEN: AND THEY SHALL SLEEP A PERPETUAL SLEEP (or state of stupor) AND NOT AWAKE, SAYS THE KING WHOSE NAME IS THE LORD OF HOSTS”. Jeremiah 51.54-57 A distinguishing characteristic of the “Daughter of Babylon”, Jeremiah tells us, is that she has a “GREAT VOICE,” a great voice that Lord Himself eventually allows to be silenced.
The world, at the end of World War II in 1945, would for all intent purposes be put back together by three nations, Winston Churchill and Great Britian, Franklin D. Roosevelt and the United States and Joseph Stalin and Russia. The most listened to voice of the (3) was the United States. The United States was the apex of replacing the old ‘League of Nations’ with the now ‘United Nations’. Let the Secretary General of the United Nations speak, or a conference message by a member of the British Parliament, and the world’s news media likely will not even cover it, but let statements be made by the US President, or US Congress other leaders of the free world make a pronouncement, the world news media will certainly report it. The last two days the news that dominates every global media outlet, newsprint, and global cable outlet is centered on one unfolding event, the inauguration President Donal Trump, and his influence will have upon the world. With the announcement on day one of placing immediate 25% Tariffs on Canada and Mexico, the creation of a 500-billion-dollar investment in the advancements in Artificial Intelligence A.I. with the creation of ‘STARGATE’ with IT Tech billionaires. And this statement was made during the global economic collapse of 2008: “AMERICA CAN CHANGE THE GEOPOLITICAL ENVIRONMENT IN ANY GIVEN AREA OF THE WORLD BY LAUNCHING OR DEFENDING AGAINST A MILITARY ATTACK. AS THE WORLD’S ONLY REMAINING SUPERPOWER, THE UNITED STATES CAN IMPOSE ITS WILL ON NATIONS, AND PEOPLES WITHIN THOSE NATIONS. America’s voice is “GREAT” in large part because of her immense wealth and the nation labeled by the Lord, “AS THE HAMMER OF THE WHOLE EARTH”. Just another glaring assurance of her status as “THE GREAT VOICE”!
The question that remains is how is The Lord going to silence “THE GREAT VOICE” or the global influence she now wields? The Bible is silent on the mechanism He will use, but the outcome is alluded to by the Prophet Ezekiel’s description of Russia’s impending appointment with The Lord. “And the word of the Lord came unto me saying, Son of man set your face against Gog the land of Magog (the nation of Russia), the land Meshech (modern day Moscow) and Tubal (modern day Tolske a part of Turkey where Gary Powers in the U2 spy plane was shot down in 1960). And I will turn you back, and put hooks in your jaws, and I will bring you forth, with all your army…and all of them, Persia (modern day Iran) Ethiopia, and Libya Gomer (modern day Germany) and all his bands; the house of Togarmah (modern day Turkey). Be you prepared, and prepare for yourself, you, and all your company that are assembled unto you and be thou a guard unto them (in other words be an arms supplier unto them and arm them well). After many days you shall be visited: in the latter years (during the dispensation called the great tribulation) you shall come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people (the modern day Israel) it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all them. You shall come like a storm and shall be like a cloud to cover the land, you, and all your bands, and many people with you. Thus says the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time…you shall think an evil thought: And you will say, I will go up to the land of walled villages; I will go to them that are rest, that dwell safely, and all dwelling without walls, neither having bars or gates. To take a spoil and to take a prey…upon the people gathered out of the nations. Sheba and Dedan (modern day Saudia Arabia) and the merchants of Tarshis (modern day Great Britian) and the young lions thereof (Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the United Staes) shall say unto you, are you come to take a spoil? A great spoil (signifying the loss of America’s “Great Voice” and world influences, and powerless to act in any meaningful way?
So, suffice it to say America, “The Great City” or “Daughter of Babylon” will be shorn of all her power by the Lord God Himself. The first (8) clues point to only one modern entity that fits every clue thus far. It behooves all that possess spiritual discernment from making much use of the Scriptures to be very attentive to unfolding daily events in the 21st century. Is it going to be painless, not likely: “And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by the flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped (encouraged to stay the course) with little help (abandoned by all previous support): but many shall cleave to them (or pretend to agree with them) with flatteries (false accolades). And some with understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: for it is yet for a time appointed. Daniel 11.33-35
